Our Process
There are many things to consider when designing a custom pool. So during this phase, we’re looking to answer important questions that will help aid in your backyard design. What vision do you hope to achieve? What pool shape works for your backyard? Are you looking to incorporate an outdoor living space?
At Fossil Creek Pools, we specialize in creating pools as unique as you. You won’t see any pre-fabricated designs, and you can rest assured your backyard will blend well with your personal style and tastes.
Preparation
We meet with you to find out what you are looking for and answer all of the questions you have
Design
After our initial consultation, we put your ideas with our design expertise and prepare the design
Excavation
This step starts by staking out the area for your new pool based on the agreed design
Steel Reinforcement
Steel reinforcing will be put on a box-style on the sides and bottom of your swimming pool.
Plumbing
The plumbing is designed to take advantage of the most efficient equipment on the market.
Gunite
We use a special mix of Gunite applied under high pressure to bind tightly.
Tile and Coping
Coping installed around your swimming pool is professionally set in place and leveled
Electrical
We use only a certified, licensed electrician to wire the main electrical service to you equipment
Deck
We have a large selection of deck surfaces and colors to make the perfect finish
Plaster
The last step in the construction of your swimming pool is the application of plaster
Pool School
After your swimming pool is filled with water, we will stop by and teach you

Vanishing Edge, Infinity or Negative Edge Pools
Vanishing Edge, Infinity, or Negative Edge pools are the only way to go when the elevation of the yard allows it and there is a beautiful backdrop behind the pool. Your swimming pool appears to fall over a ledge and creates a beautiful look and effect.
Freeform, Kidney or Natural Shaped Pools
Freeform, kidney or natural shaped pools appear as they were created by nature…. only better. They are very popular if you are looking for a tropical flair and complement a circular in ground spa as a nice water feature.

Water Features

Each of our custom waterfalls are handcrafted by owner Mark Brandner, who pays specific attention to each and every intricate detail. With the use of natural boulders, Mark is able to create a gorgeous waterfall that looks as if it belongs in nature. We can customize your waterfall to be as grand or minimal as you’d like by utilizing different sized boulders.

Waterfalls
Waterfalls make a classic addition to any pool style and are always popular with children. Our custom designed pool/spa waterfalls offer endless design options – from natural rock waterfalls to stackstone
Grottos
Create a romantic getaway or a place for pirate’s treasure – in your own pool! A grotto uses rock & boulders (natural or man-made) to create a small cave where water runs-off.
Infinity Edge
An infinity edge pool or Negative edge appears to have no edge and is one of the most luxurious water features. Water cascades over the edge of the pool giving an illusion
